RCMA “Color Process” Make-up has been designed for, and is sold only within the profession. It is not a commercial product that can be found in any department or drug store.

RCMA does not have sample sizes, or mini kits for amateur theatricals, promotional sales aides for commercial stores, giveaways or any of the gimmicks normally associated with commercial cosmetics. Rather, RCMA only sells the best of professional product and is constantly researching and developing new ones for the trade.

     The Research Council of Make-up Artists, Inc. was organized to further         the research and development of specialized professional make-up products   for the film, television and stage industry and services the trade only through authorized and select distributors in production centers all over the world.  Distributors are extant in London, England; Waterloo, Canada; Sydney, Australia, as well as in New York City, Hollywood, Texas, Florida and Nashville in the USA to service studios.

 
     RCMA, Inc. distributes its products wholesale only, and does not sell to any retail drug or department stores, house-to-house or such commercial cosmetic venues.  RCMA, Inc. manufactures or contracts under strict supervision ALL of its specialized products on its current suggested retail prices lists and all export products are the same for any foreign suppliers or distributors as in the USA.  As there are exchange and price differences in each foreign country, RCMA, Inc. allows each distributor, without restriction, to sell its products at appropriate prices.

     RCMA, Inc. conforms to the United States Food and Drug Administrations   Good Manufacturing Practices and all United States Federal and States Regulations.

     RCMA “Color Process” Foundations are available in 86 shades of skin tones to cover all racial skin values and types, 24 special shades for Beard cover, Hair whiteners, Rainbow shades and Metallic,  along with 16 Shading and Counter-shade and 13 cheek colours. This totals 139 colours in its shade range, the most extensive and versatile professional make up ever produced.  All of these shades are made with the same basic ingredients so that the blend together beautifully on any skin. All the shades are available in 1 oz and 3/8 oz containers.  The Special Shades, Countershades and Cheekcolours are also available in 1/8 oz size.  RCMA Color Process Foundations are made with vegetable oils and waxes plus FDA Certified Colors and do not contain any mineral oils, petroleum, lanolin or perfumes. As such they do not appear greasy or oily on the skin and last better under the intense hot lighting used in studios or on stage.

     All RCMA make up colours are skin tested for batch accuracy in manufacture and very high standards are maintained  keep it’s products accurate for colour matching in studio work.  Some commercial products have a variance of up to 15%, RCMA matches its foundation’s colours to its standard colour mixes kept on file.

     RCMA “Color Process” Lip-colours are available in 83 different shades and 10 shades of lip gloss to cover a full range of shades for all periods and fashions of make up.  No dyes or perfumes are used in RCMA Lip colours or glosses.

RCMA Cleansers and Skin Care products have been developed to be compatible with the RCMA make up line and are made with professional application in mind.  They are not advertised as containing any exotic materials and contain little or no perfumes.  With fancier labels and expensive packaging these products would sell for three times their present cost. However RCMA employs very basic clinical packaging so that all the value is in the product and not useless dressing.
